The Heart of Worship

The Lord Jesus reminds us: "Worship the Lord, your God, and only serve him."  Worship and service goes hand in hand. Only when you have a sincere heart to worship can you truly serve. The English word worship means to attribute to God the honor that God deserves. The Greek text of the Bible contains the meaning of bowing down and kissing the palm of the hand, which means to express one's love, value, appreciation, and humility toward people. Worship is the beginning and foundation of all our ministry. We use it to express our love for God, value His words, appreciate what He has done for us, and come to Him and submit and to obey His guidance and will. May we worship our Lord and God with our hearts and honesty!
